Eco-Friendly
Clean Technology. Literally.
Laser ablation isn't just effective, it's the most environmentally responsible cleaning method available. No chemical waste streams. No contaminated water runoff. No abrasive media disposal. Just pure light energy that vaporizes contaminants at the molecular level, leaving nothing behind but clean surfaces.

What area are you based in?
We primarily serve Portland Metro and surrounding areas, but depending on the project, we may be able to travel further. Get in touch to discuss your location and project needs.
How long does a typical project take?
Speed depends on the application. Light surface cleaning (graffiti, light rust) can be 30-50 square feet per hour. Heavy contamination (thick coatings, deep corrosion) might be 10-20 square feet per hour. We'll give you realistic timeline estimates during the initial consultation.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes! We offer free, no-obligation quotes. After an initial consultation, we’ll assess your project needs and provide a detailed estimate so you know exactly what to expect.
Will it damage my building/equipment?
No. Laser ablation is non-contact and substrate-selective. The energy wavelength and pulse duration are specifically tuned to vaporize contaminants while leaving base materials untouched. We've cleaned everything from fragile historic plaster to precision-machined metal parts without causing any damage.
How does laser ablation actually work?
Our laser systems emit highly focused pulses of light energy. When these pulses hit a contaminant (paint, rust, mold, etc.), they cause rapid heating and vaporization at the molecular level. The substrate underneath absorbs far less energy and remains unaffected. Think of it as incredibly precise evaporation—we're removing only what needs to go, atom by atom.
How much does it cost?
Projects vary widely based on surface area, contamination type, location, and access requirements. As a rough guide, laser ablation typically costs more per square foot than pressure washing but less than chemical stripping with disposal costs included. The real value comes from superior results and zero collateral damage. Contact us for a project-specific quote.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. Our systems include multiple safety features: enclosed beam paths, emergency shutoffs, protective barriers, and real-time monitoring. Our operators are extensively trained and certified. We follow all OSHA regulations and provide appropriate PPE. The laser itself never leaves the work area, and we use HEPA filtration to capture any airborne particles.
Can you work in occupied buildings?
Yes, with appropriate planning. Our systems are relatively quiet (about as loud as a vacuum cleaner), and we can set up containment to isolate the work area. Many of our projects happen in active businesses or occupied residential buildings.
