Precision Cleaning for Every Surface

Whether you're restoring a historic landmark or maintaining industrial equipment, our laser systems deliver results that traditional methods simply can't match.

Here's what we can do for you.

Masonary & Stone Restoration

Porous stone absorbs chemicals and water, leading to long-term damage. Abrasive methods can alter the surface texture or remove the protective patina. Our laser process removes contaminants without penetrating the substrate, preserving the original finish and structural integrity.

Historic Brick Facade Restoration

100-year-old brick building with decades of paint, graffiti, and biological growth. Client needed complete cleaning without damaging the original brick face or mortar joints. Completed in 5 days with zero water usage and no chemical runoff.

5 Days

After purchasing our townhouse in Portland Oregon, we discovered the previous owner had painted over original 1880s brick. Traditional removal would've damaged the facade. RayVault stripped over a century of paint in three days with zero collateral damage. The historical society approved, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Warehouse Floor Epoxy

Failed floor sealer on 15,000 square feet of warehouse concrete. Traditional shot blasting or grinding would have created days of airborne silica dust requiring full facility shutdown and extensive HVAC protection. We removed the contaminated sealer and prepared the surface profile in half the time while adjacent operations continued normally.

We needed to prep 15,000 square feet of warehouse floor for epoxy coating. Traditional shot blasting or grinding would've created days of dust and required extensive cleanup. RayVault's laser process removed the old sealer and contaminants in half the time with minimal mess. Our epoxy contractor said it was the cleanest, most uniform surface profile he'd worked with. The epoxy bonded perfectly and we were back to operations two days ahead of schedule.

Fire-Damaged Timber Beam Recovery

Smoke and char removal from 150-year-old Douglas fir beams in a residential restoration. The beams were structurally sound but heavily discolored. Laser ablation removed all damage while preserving original saw marks and patina.

Kitchen fire left our 1870s Douglas fir beams covered in smoke damage and char. Traditional sanding would remove too much material, chemicals could weaken the wood. RayVault removed all the damage while preserving the original saw marks and patina. Structural engineer confirmed no compromise to integrity. Beams look clean but authentically aged.

  • Our 1920s limestone fountain was black with algae and pollution. RayVault's laser brought it back to original cream color without a scratch.

    Emily Carter

  • Previous owner painted over our 1880s brick. Traditional removal would've damaged it. RayVault stripped over a century of paint in three days with zero damage.

    James Richardson

  • Removed decades of rust and coating from 12 storage tanks. No abrasive media, no chemical permits needed. Precision meant no gasket replacement.

    Sophie Williams

  • Needed corrosion treatment on landing gear components. RayVault's process removed it without affecting tolerances or requiring part re-certification.

    Daniel Foster

  • Century-old stone cellar had mold and mineral deposits. RayVault removed it all without moisture or chemicals. So clean we didn't relocate the wine during work.

    Charlotte Harris

  • Hand-carved mahogany doors. Chemical stripping would've damaged the wood and carvings. RayVault removed six layers of paint, revealing beautiful original wood.

What area are you based in?

We primarily serve Portland Metro and surrounding areas, but depending on the project, we may be able to travel further. Get in touch to discuss your location and project needs.

How long does a typical project take?

Speed depends on the application. Light surface cleaning (graffiti, light rust) can be 30-50 square feet per hour. Heavy contamination (thick coatings, deep corrosion) might be 10-20 square feet per hour. We'll give you realistic timeline estimates during the initial consultation.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes! We offer free, no-obligation quotes. After an initial consultation, we’ll assess your project needs and provide a detailed estimate so you know exactly what to expect.

Will it damage my building/equipment?

No. Laser ablation is non-contact and substrate-selective. The energy wavelength and pulse duration are specifically tuned to vaporize contaminants while leaving base materials untouched. We've cleaned everything from fragile historic plaster to precision-machined metal parts without causing any damage.

How does laser ablation actually work?

Our laser systems emit highly focused pulses of light energy. When these pulses hit a contaminant (paint, rust, mold, etc.), they cause rapid heating and vaporization at the molecular level. The substrate underneath absorbs far less energy and remains unaffected. Think of it as incredibly precise evaporation—we're removing only what needs to go, atom by atom.

How much does it cost?

Projects vary widely based on surface area, contamination type, location, and access requirements. As a rough guide, laser ablation typically costs more per square foot than pressure washing but less than chemical stripping with disposal costs included. The real value comes from superior results and zero collateral damage. Contact us for a project-specific quote.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. Our systems include multiple safety features: enclosed beam paths, emergency shutoffs, protective barriers, and real-time monitoring. Our operators are extensively trained and certified. We follow all OSHA regulations and provide appropriate PPE. The laser itself never leaves the work area, and we use HEPA filtration to capture any airborne particles.

Can you work in occupied buildings?

Yes, with appropriate planning. Our systems are relatively quiet (about as loud as a vacuum cleaner), and we can set up containment to isolate the work area. Many of our projects happen in active businesses or occupied residential buildings.
